Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager (Safety) (E2) or Manager (Safety) (E3) for their ongoing Phase II construction project.
Job Details:
- Project: Kochi Metro Rail Phase II (JLN Stadium to Info Park)
- Department: Safety
- Type of Contract: Contract basis for 3 years, extendable for 2 years based on performance
- Number of Positions: One (1)
Salary:
- Assistant Manager (E2): ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000 per month (IDA)
- Manager (E3): ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000 per month (IDA)
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Full-time Master’s degree (M.Tech/M.E.) in Fire & Safety or Safety from a recognized university/institute.
- OR
- Full-time Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in any engineering branch from a recognized university/institute with a one-year postgraduate degree/diploma in Safety or NEBOSH Diploma.
- OR
- Full-time Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Fire & Safety Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
Experience:
- Manager (E3): Minimum 7 years of experience as a safety professional, with at least 3 years in metro rail construction.
- Assistant Manager (E2): Minimum 5 years of experience as a safety professional, with at least 2 years in metro rail construction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage safety at construction sites.
- Design and implement safety norms.
- Monitor adherence to safety regulations.
Age Limit:
- Assistant Manager (E2): 35 years (as of September 1, 2024)
- Manager (E3): 40 years (as of September 1, 2024)
